What is what is considered adequate food?
An adequate food means bringing a balanced diet so that the body can obtain the nutrients needed to maintain good health. Every day, his body renewing itself, forming new muscle, bone, skin and blood. The food that one eats provides the new basis of these tissues. If your body is low needed nutrients, this renewal will be incomplete and also its mouth will have difficulty to resist infection.

A balanced diet consists of the following nutrients:

• Approximately 25 minerals
• Water
Because our body is not capable of producing all the nutrients they need, especially certain vitamins, these are obtained from some foods or supplements. The Department of Agriculture in the United States recommends to the general population eats daily as follows:
• 6 To 11 servings of bread and cereals
• 3 To 5 servings of vegetables
